Leya Adler (Director) holds an MA from NYU in Educational Theatre with an emphasis in directing. Directing credits include, The Would be Gentleman, Flowers for Algernon, I Never Saw Another Butterfly,  A Shayna Maidel,Act II of The Homecoming, The Pot Boiler and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Leya has also directed and produced original works in New York festivals and regional showcases. Her production of A Shayna Maidel won the Ellie Weisel honorable mention award in 2004. She founded the regional theater company TheTeatron Players, which theatrical events raised money for Jewish educational advisories. She has also taught acting full time in Florida and continues to teach in the New York area.
